Declaration of conflict-free minerals

Phoenix Silicon International Corporation (hereinafter referred as “PSI") commits to embrace, support and enact, within its sphere of influence, to the extent of applicable laws, a set of internationally recognized standards in the areas of business ethics, employee rights, health and safety, and environment. PSI’s management further commits to put up a management system for ensuring the compliance of the company and its next tier suppliers to this set of standards and their continual improvement.

To avoid purchasing the conflict minerals (gold, tin, tantalum, tungsten and other minerals may included by EICC in the future) from the Covered Countries (The Democratic Republic of Congo or surrounding regions), PSI will request its next tier suppliers to source from smelters validated in the EICC/GeSI Conflict-Free Smelter list. PSI will also do best effort to request those smelters which are not in the EICC/GeSI list to obtain the certification of EICC/GeSI and to ensure that PSI and its next tier suppliers use only conflict-free minerals.

As a citizen of world, Psi declared and committed not to purchase the metal materials using the Responsible Minerals : Tantalum (Ta), Tin (Sn), Gold (Au), Tungsten (W) and Cobalt (Co) metal materials from DRC or its covered countries. Moreover, Psi also required suppliers to take corporate social responsibility to ensure not to use the minerals materials in their products .
