Intellectual Property Management Plan

To reinforce our industry leadership and safeguard the hard-earned results of our research and development efforts, the company plans to integrate its operational objectives with intellectual property management. By leveraging intellectual property rights to create corporate value, the company aims not only to protect its operational freedom but also to enhance its competitive advantage. This strategic approach is expected to contribute to the company's profitability while preserving and utilizing its valuable intellectual property assets.

  • Internal Employee Management
The company signs "Confidentiality Agreements" and "Employment Contracts" with its employees, clearly stipulating the obligation of employees to maintain confidentiality regarding personal and company business matters. Regular intellectual property education and awareness campaigns are conducted during the employment period. Information security management meetings are held periodically to report and review the results. Employees are informed of their confidentiality obligations before leaving the company and are required to sign a "Resignation Non-disclosure Agreement."
  • Engineer Logbook Strengthened Management
The company regularly conducts courses on key points for writing engineer logbooks to facilitate the discovery of technical value and outputs. Additionally, it establishes a digital issuance management list and conducts content audits to enhance the quality of logbook entries. Proposals with value are encouraged to submit patent proposals, and periodic reviews are conducted to examine the preservation status of engineer logbooks. Engineer logbooks issued by the company will be retrieved before the employee leaves.
  • Patent and Trade Secret Management
To protect the company's R&D achievements, technological leadership, and competitive advantages such as customer trust, regular intellectual property meetings are held to evaluate intellectual property for patent applications or trade secret protection. A reward system is in place to continuously motivate employees to submit intellectual property proposals. The company plans to establish a systematic patent intellectual property management system with a graded evaluation process, considering both the quantity and quality of employee patent applications. Regular education courses on intellectual property rights are conducted to enhance employee awareness of the importance of intellectual property and confidentiality.
The company takes measures to minimize potential losses to shareholder equity due to intellectual property claims and lawsuits. These measures include strategically obtaining necessary licenses from specific semiconductor or other technology companies, obtaining defensive and/or offensive intellectual property protection for the company's technology and business, actively defending against malicious patent litigation, and preventing the infringement of critical trade secrets essential to the company's livelihood.
